Direct to garment printing (DTG) is a process where the ink is sprayed directly onto the fabric via a digital printer. The ink is then heat cured in an oven. It works great for small and large orders. It offers great flexibility as there are unlimited colours, no minimum order quantity or set up costs and has a quick turnaround. DTG is best used on cotton garments.
Prints on dark garments require a pre-treatment which is a cured underbase. The colours then lay on top which brings out the vibrancy of a design.Pre-treatment is not required on white direct to garment printer.
